Here Lies Love has music by David Byrne of The Talking Heads and DJ Fatboy Slim, with lyrics by Byrne. A starry concept album of the same title was released by Byrne in 2010.
The physical, two-disc recording promises a 52-page full-color booklet with an introduction by Public Theater artistic director Oskar Eustis, full lyrics and two essays by Byrne on the making of the musical and its historical context. The recording features the cast from the 2013 Off-Broadway run of the musical.
The album also features new material written for the stage production that was not part of the original concept recording, including "Child of the Philippines," "The Fabulous One," based on Ninoy Aquino's speech "A Pantheon for Imelda," and "God Draws Straight," based on the book "People Power: An Eyewitness History."

Tony nominee Alex Timbers (Rocky, Peter and the Starcatcher) stages the 90-minute, immersive musical, which centers around the First Lady of the Philippines. It returned to the Public Theater for an open-ended run April 14.
