News Hilty, Kritzer, Block, Bahorek, Hanlon, Alvin Will Sing Tunes of Up-n-Coming Composers in D.C. Following the previously announced Millennium Stage 12th Anniversary Celebration: Broadway Today Jan. 31 at the Kennedy Center, the famed Washington, DC, venue will host a week of musical theatre cabarets.

Curated by Michael Kerker and ASCAP, the Feb. 1-7 performances will be presented in the Millennium Stage's Grand Foyer, which will be transformed into a cabaret. The series of 6 PM performances will spotlight "up-and-coming composers at the piano with rising stars singing their works that are becoming the 'new standards,'" according to press notes.

The line-up of composers and performers follows:

Feb. 1: The songs of Alan Zachary and Michael Weiner performed by Megan Hilty

Feb. 2: The songs of Michael Kooman and Chris Dimond performed by Anderson Davis and Natalie Weiss

Feb. 3: The songs of Benj Pasek and Justin Paul performed by Leslie Kritzer

Feb. 4: The songs of Scott Burkell and Paul Loesel performed by Stephanie J. Block

Feb. 5: The songs of Adam Gwon performed by Leah Horowitz and Stanley Bahorek

Feb. 6: The songs of Joshua Salzman and Ryan Cunningham performed by Colin Hanlon and Farah Alvin

Feb. 7: The songs of Marcy Heisler and Zina Goldrich performed by Scott Coulter.
