News Holly Webber's Pratfalls, With "Boardwalk Empire" Actor Victor Verhaeghe, Begins April 27 Ground UP Productions presents the world premiere of Holly Webber's Pratfalls, a new comedy about falling down, April 27, prior to an official opening April 29, at the Abingdon Theatre Complex / Dorothy Strelsin Theatre.

Directed by The Actors Company Theatre co-artistic director Jenn Thompson, the cast features Kate Middleton, Victor Verhaeghe (HBO's "Boardwalk Empire"), Amelia White and Matthew Baldiga. Pratfalls continues through May 19.

Set on a rooftop in Brooklyn, Pratfalls, according to Ground UP, "explores four mismatched characters and the ups and downs of their lives—the 5th floor walkups, city-wide blackouts, stand-up comedy and perhaps even love."

Playwright Webber's other plays include Flash Pictures and Wanderjahr. Pratfalls is the winner of the 2008 Playwrights First Award and was included in Ground UP's New Works Festival in 2011.

Other members of the creative team include set and lighting designer Travis McHale and costume designer Amanda Jenks.

The Abingdon Theatre Complex / Dorothy Strelsin Theatre is located at 312 West 36th Street. For more information and tickets, call (866) 411-8111 or visit GroundUPproductions.org.
