The show, loosely based on "The Wizard of Oz" and "A Star is Born," follows Dorothy (inspired by Judy Garland) a girl from Kansas who has dreams of being a movie star. Upon her arrival in Hollywood she encounters some of Hollywood's biggest upcoming talents. She also sees and becomes a part of some of the most notorious scandals, including a few made-up ones. It is through this interaction that she and the other characters learn fame has a price.

The cast includes Stacy Smith as Dorothy, Tom Petrone as Max, Shelley Marsh as Marilyn Monroe, Nancy Elyne Brier as Gloria Swanson, Michael Fass as James Dean, and Jim Moscater and Rosanne Nelson.
