News Hoty, Colella, Pine, Gatton and Acker to Read Monster Tales in NYC Tony nominee Dee Hoty, Jenn Colella and Larry Pine will appear in a reading of Mary Jett Parsley Wrenn's The Monster Tales Feb. 1 at The Actors Company Theatre Studio.

Cailín Heffernan directs the 7 PM reading for the Boomerang Theatre Company. The evening is presented as part of the Legacy Reading series, which features readings of works from previous Boomerang seasons. Monster Tales originally premiered at Boomerang in 2002. Hoty (Bye Bye Birdie, City of Angles), Colella (High Fidelity) and Pine (The Royal Family, Angels in America) will be joined by Vince Gatton and Amy Acker.

Monster Tales, according to press notes, "tells the story of a lonely young woman who discovers her singular humanity when a monster appears from under her bed."
