Classic Arts News Houston Grand Opera Presents Free Figaro May 19-20 The Houston Grand Opera will present free performances of Mozart's Le nozze di Figaro at the Miller Outdoor Theatre on May 19 and 20, the company announced.
The performances will feature bass Ryan McKinny as Figaro, soprano Heidi Stober as Susanna, baritone Liam Bonner as Count Almaviva, soprano Tamata Wilson as Countess Almaviva, and mezzo-soprano Fiona Murphy as Cherubino. James Lowe, the associate conductor of the Royal Scottish National Orchestra, will conduct; Sharyn Pirtle is the director.

Both performances begin at 8 p.m. Free tickets for reserved seating are on the day of the performance between 11:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. at the Miller Theatre box office; space on the theater's lawn is available on a first-come, first-served bases.
