News Houston's Theatre Under the Stars Forecasts Rain, Hair, Anything Goes and More in 2004-05 Theatre Under the Stars in Houston will offer Hair, A Chorus Line, Singin' in the Rain and tours of The King and I and Peter Pan in 2004-05.

The TUTS season is produced by Frank M. Young at the Hobby Center for the Performing Arts, September 2004 to May 2005. The season includes:

  • The ground-breaking musical that defined the '60s, Hair, Sept. 9-26.
  • A 30th anniversary production of one of the longest running musicals in Broadway history, A Chorus Line, Oct. 20-Nov. 7.
  • The stage version of the classic film, Singin' in the Rain, complete with rain, Dec. 2-19.
  • Cole Porter's musical comedy, Anything Goes, set aboard an ocean-liner — and filled with hit songs — Jan. 27-Feb. 13, 2005.
  • Rodgers and Hammerstein's The King and I starring Stefanie Powers as Anna, March 17-April 3, 2005.
