News How to Succeed's Michael Urie Cast in CBS Pilot "Partners" Michael Urie, who currently stars as Bud Frump in the Broadway revival of How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying, has been cast in the CBS half-hour pilot "Partners," according to Deadline.com.

James Burrows will direct the pilot from "Will & Grace" creators Max Mutchick and David Kohan, which centers on lifelong friends and business partners—one straight and one gay (Urie).

Urie joins Sophia Bush, who will play the other character's fiancé.

Urie, who made his Broadway debut last month in How to Succeed…, has also been seen in the Off-Broadway productions of Tony Kusher's Angels in America and Jon Marans' The Temperamentals.
