News How to Succeed's Mullally Sings in Concert Aug. 21 Emmy Award winner Megan Mullally will offer two concerts at Oklahoma City's Lyric Theatre Aug. 21.

Mullally, an Oklahoma City native who starred opposite Matthew Broderick in the Broadway revival of How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying, will perform at 6:30 and 9 PM. The concerts will feature a mix of jazz, pop, blues and big band numbers featuring Mullally's band, Supreme Music Program.

The two concerts will benefit the University of Oklahoma's Child Study Center. A gala reception at the Oklahoma City Museum of Art will follow the 9 PM concert.

Barbara L. Bonner, PhD., the associate director of the Child Study Center, said in a statement, "I am delighted that Megan is coming to Oklahoma City to perform a benefit for children. I actually 'directed' Megan in her first play when she was in the second grade — she was a marvelous Lucy in Charlie Brown Plans a Play."

Best known for her role as Karen on the Emmy-winning NBC series "Will & Grace," Mullally also appeared on Broadway as Marty in the most recent revival of Grease! Her one-woman musical, Sweetheart, played a sold-out run in Los Angeles.
