Based on the classic novel Le Fantôme de L’Opéra by Gaston Leroux, The Phantom of the Opera tells the story of a masked figure who lurks beneath the Paris Opera House. He falls in love with an innocent young soprano, Christine and devotes himself to creating a new star.
The current cast on Broadway includes James Barbour as Phantom, Ali Ewoldt and Rachel Eskenazi-Gold, and Rodney Ingram as Raoul.
The new play, now on Broadway via Second Stage, stars Jessica Lange, Jim Parsons, and Celia Keenan-Bolger.
