Bryan Cranston has put out a casting call of sorts to give audiences a chance to be featured alongside him (and co-stars Tony Goldwyn and Tatiana Maslany) in the upcoming Broadway production of Network.

“I need you to make a recording of yourself,” he instructs in the video callout above, “and say these words, yell them out: 'I’M MAD AS HELL AND I’M NOT GOING TO TAKE IT ANYMORE!' Do it as enthusiastically as possible—even angry.”

The production wants submissions from an array of people. “We need all kinds of videos from all walks of life,” says Cranston.

Interested applicants are to post their videos to Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter using the hashtag #MadAsHellBway for a chance to have the video featured.

Network transfers to Broadway from its critically acclaimed production in London, which also starred Cranston. Based on the 1976 film of the same name, it tells the story of anchorman Howard Beal who struggles to garner viewership until an on-air breakdown in his final broadcast. When the ratings come in, the network decides to keep him around. Adapted by Tony and Oliver winner Lee Hall and directed by Tony winner Ivo Van Hove, the show begins previews November 6 at the Belasco Theatre with an official opening set for December 6.

Cranston won a 2018 Olivier Award for his portrayal of Beale; he has appeared on Broadway as President Lyndon Baines Johnson in All The Way, for which he won a Tony Award. He was nominated for an Emmy for the role in the screen adaptation of the play. Cranston was nominated for an Oscar for his work in Trumbo and earned four Emmys for his performance as Walter White in Breaking Bad, as well as a Golden Globe.
