Charlotte Moore, who helms the company's current production of Brian Friel's Dancing at Lughnasa—which was extended through Jan. 15, 2012—will direct. John Bell will be musical director for the limited engagement that will continue through Dec. 31.

A Child's Christmas in Wales in Concert will feature Tony nominee Howard McGillin (Anything Goes, Phantom of the Opera), Edwin Cahill (Lovemusik), Danielle Erin Rhodes (The Marvelous Wonderettes), Ashley Robinson (Irish Rep's Meet Me in St. Louis) and Beverly Ward (Crazy for You national tour).

The concert production, according to Irish Rep, "features both traditional and contemporary Christmas music interwoven within the classic story of the legendary snowy Christmas Day in Wales."

Other members of the creative team include costume designer David Toser, lighting designer Michael O'Connor and production stage manager April A. Kline.

The Irish Repertory Theatre, founded by Ciarán O'Reilly and Moore in 1988, brings works by Irish and Irish-American masters and contemporary playwrights to American audiences, to provide a context for understanding the contemporary Irish-American experience, and to encourage the development of new works focusing on the Irish and Irish-American experience.
