News Huey Lewis to Return to Broadway's Chicago Grammy Award winner Huey Lewis will return to the Tony-winning revival of Chicago in November. Lewis will again assume the role of Billy Flynn, which is currently played by another Grammy winner, Usher.

Lewis will begin his second Broadway stint as the slick lawyer Nov. 20 and will stay with the Kander and Ebb musical through Jan. 14, 2007. Lewis will also take part in the 10th anniversary performance of Chicago on Nov. 14, which is titled "Justice Served, In Our Own Words." That performance will feature a slew of current and past Chicago stars.

The Broadway production of Chicago currently features Brenda Braxton as Velma Kelly, Bianca Marroquin as Roxie Hart, Usher as Billy Flynn, Rob Bartlett as Amos Hart, Roz Ryan as Matron "Mama" Morton and R. Lowe as Mary Sunshine. Usher plays his final performance Oct. 14.

Huey Lewis is the founding member and lead vocalist of Huey Lewis and The News, the award-winning group whose top-ten hits include "The Power of Love," "The Heart of Rock and Roll," "Stuck With You," "I Want a New Drug," "Workin’ For a Livin" and "If This Is It." Lewis has appeared in the films "Shortcuts," "Sphere," "Shadow of Doubt" and "Duets." His TV work includes roles in "Just Shoot Me" and "One Tree Hill."

Chicago won the Tony Award for Best Revival of a Musical in 1997 as well as awards for actors Bebe Neuwirth and James Naughton, director Walter Bobbie, lighting designer Ken Billington and choreographer Ann Reinking. The original production was directed and choreographed by the late Bob Fosse.

Chicago plays the Ambassador Theatre, located at 215 West 49th Street.
