Jackman (The Boy from Oz, A Steady Rain, "X-Men") will star in "Real Steel," a new action drama about a former fighter whose career ended when 8-foot-tall steel robots took over the fighting ring. In order to regain his title for a final comeback, he reteams with his estranged son (to be played by Dakota Goyo). Shawn Levy will direct the film, which is aiming for an Oct. 7, 2011, release.
Agron, who stars as cheerleader Quinn on the hit Fox series "Glee," co-stars in the new action thriller "I Am Number Four," about a teenager with mysterious abilities, who must escape an unknown enemy trying to destroy him. D.J. Caruso directed the film that is set to hit theatres Feb. 18, 2011. Alex Pettyfer and Timothy Olyphant also star.
Both films will be released under the Touchstone Pictures banner globally.
