Hugh Jackman appeared on Good Morning America April 8 to talk about his latest animated film Missing Link. The Music Man was famously Jackman’s introduction to musical theatre in high school. “I played Salesman #2 at the beginning. Clearly, the chip on my shoulder not getting the lead prepared me for the next 37 years,” he joked.

The consummate performer also embarks on his world tour beginning May 7 in Scotland. He hits New York’s Madison Square Garden June 28 and 29. “I dreamt of being a rockstar when I was a kid, and I'm going to be playing Madison Square Garden and doing songs from The Greatest Showman, Les Miz, from Beauty and the Beast, The Boy from Oz,” he said.
