As previously reported, Emmy winner and Tony nominee Holland Taylor will host the event, presented by the Broadway League and The Coalition of Broadway Unions and Guilds.

Directed by Marc Bruni (Old Jews Telling Jokes), the public celebration honoring members of the industry will recognize theatre professionals for having worked 25, 35 and 50 years in their respective crafts.

The event will take place in the Times Square Visitor Center (1560 Broadway). Red carpet arrivals begin at 3:30 PM, and the public ceremony will begin at 4 PM.

The organization honors a wide range of theatre professionals — including stagehands, actors, producers, managers, theatre owners, press agents, ushers, agents, make-up artists, dressers, designers, directors, choreographers, musicians, casting agents and more — who have dedicated their careers to the Broadway industry.

"Broadway Salutes is an occasion for our community to acknowledge the hundreds of people who work on Broadway, behind the scenes and on stage," Broadway Salutes co-chairperson Carl Mulert said in a statement. "On this day, the artists as well as the crafts people and technicians, artist representatives and a myriad of other persons who are never seen by the audience will be honored for their remarkable talent. The dedication of these hard working individuals supports the industry that brings in billions of dollars to New York City annually and provides countless hours of enjoyment for New Yorkers and tourists alike." White has performed in Fela!, The Life, How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying and Dreamgirls. She will perform a song from Ain't Misbehavin'. Ashford, whose stage credits include Kinky Boots, Hair, Legally Blonde and Wicked, will sing a song from Funny Girl. Panaro's stage work includes Lestat, Side Show, Show Boat and Les Misérables, and he will perform a song from The Phantom of the Opera.

Taylor received a Tony nomination for her solo show Ann. Her stage work also includes Moose Murders; Something Old, Something New; Murder Among Friends; We Interrupt this Program...; Butley and The Devils. The six-time Emmy nominee's TV work includes "Two and a Half Men" and "The Practice," and her film credits include "Legally Blonde" and "The Truman Show."

The Broadway League, founded in 1930, is the national trade association for the Broadway industry. The members of the Coalition of Broadway Unions and Guilds (COBUG) have labor contracts or work for or with the Broadway League.
