Renée collaborates with music director Charlie Rosen, whom she has previously worked with on the Broadway Big Band concerts, for the 9:30 PM show.
The evening promises "jazzed-up arrangements of songs from everyone's favorite female artists including Judy Garland, Whitney Houston, and even Taylor Swift in a show entitled Lady Boss. With an eclectic mix of genres from Broadway Standards to Pop and R&B, Renée uses the inspirational lives of her favorite female Lady Bosses as well as her personal experiences to illuminate the challenges of being a strong female in the entertainment business without perpetuating the 'Diva' stereotype."
The actress recently starred as Esmeralda in the Paper Mill production of The Hunchback of Notre Dame and has also been seen on Broadway in Big Fish.
For the solo concert, she will partner with and perform alongside the Children's Aid Society Chorus, which strives to "impart confidence, self-esteem, vocal excellence and teamwork through the lens of a musical education." The concert will benefit Children's Aid Society. For more information, visit ChildrensAidSociety.org.
