Under the leadership of artistic director Peter DuBois and managing director Michael Maso, the Huntington recently transferred two productions to New York: Lydia R. Diamond's Stick Fly, and the Roundabout Theatre Company production of Stephen Karam's Sons of the Prophet, named a 2012 Pulitzer Prize finalist.

The Huntington has transferred a total of 16 productions to New York in its history. In addition, the Huntington has produced more than 100 New England, American, or world premieres to date.

The company recently announced casting for the world-premiere stage musical adaptation of The Jungle Book, based on Nobel Laureate Rudyard Kipling's 1893 collection of stories set in the Indian jungle and Walt Disney's 1967 animated film, which will be directed by Tony Award winner Mary Zimmerman (Metamorphoses, Candide).
