News Hurlbert, Prince and Puzzo Cast in Killing Women in NYC The New York City premiere Marisa Wegrzyn's Killing Women, a dark comedy about corporate America, will play May 13-June 5 at the Beckett Theatre at Theatre Row.

The play, produced by kef theatrical productions in association with South Ark Stage, will officially open May 16.

The cast will feature Autumn Hurlbert (Legally Blonde), Lori Prince (Lyric is Waiting) and Michael Puzzo (Dirty Story). Adam Fitzgerald will direct. Additional casting will be announced shortly.

Press notes describe the play as "a raucous comic exploration of the ironies and insanities of corporate America where even professional assassins are fighting for their benefits. When Abby (Prince), a star on the rise, is simultaneously denied a promotion and asked to kill another woman (Hurlbert), tempers flare, guns fire and out comes a life-or-death game of Monopoly. Killing Women asks what happens when a woman is not taken seriously, but she is given a gun."

Wegrzyn's other plays include The Butcher of Baraboo, Psalms of a Questionable Nature, Ten Cent Night, Hickorydickory and Diversey Harbor.

Performances of Killing Women will run Wednesday-Saturday at 8 PM. The Beckett Theatre is located at 410 West 42nd Street. For tickets, call (212) 279-4200. For more information, visit killingwomen.com.
