News Hurlbert, Wolfe, Wolpe and More Will Introduce "Unknown Songs" at NYC's Laurie Beechman Performers have been announced for the May 10 launch of a new concert series, Songs You've Never Heard and Shows You've Never Heard Of, at the Laurie Beechman Theatre.

The singers include Autumn Hurlbert, Jeremy Jordan, Alyse Alan Louis, Betsy Wolfe, Lenny Wolpe, Cole Burden, Emily Borromeo, Erica Jacob, Sam Pinkleton, Sam Tedaldi and Mark Robert Turner. Additional performers will be announced soon.

The 9:30 PM concert will feature the work of emerging writers Sam Willmott (Speargrove Presents), Marcus Stevens (Yo, Vikings!), Kristen Lee Rosenfeld (music director of the Spring Awakening tour), Andrew Sotomayor (Requiem for Adrian Bayle), Tom Gualtieri (Falling to Earth, The Supper at Elsinore) and David Sisco (Here I Am: A Musical Personal Ad).

Larson Grant-winning songwriters Kait Kerrigan and Brian Lowdermilk (Tales from the Bad Years, The Unauthorized Biography of Samantha Brown) will host the concert.

Rob Heller will direct, Molly Gachignard will provide musical direction and Jason Haft will produce. The band will include Gachignard (piano), Jesse Brickel (drums), Justin Goldner (bass) and Austin Moorhead (guitar).

The Laurie Beechman Theatre is located in the West Bank Café at 407 West 42nd Street. There is a $15 cover charge and a $15 food/drink minimum. For reservations, call (212) 695-6909.
