Lucy DeVito and Danny DeVito

Roundabout Theatre Company's previously announced Broadway world premiere of Theresa Rebeck's I Need That, set to star Danny DeVito and his daughter Lucy DeVito, has set dates and revealed its creative team. The work will begin at the American Airlines Theatre October 13 ahead of a November 2 opening night, with the limited engagement set to continue through December 23. Moritz von Stuelpnagel is directing.

The production will feature scenic design by Alexander Dodge, costumes by Tilly Grimes, lights by Yi Zhao, and sound and original music by Fitz Patton.

The play centers on Sam (Danny DeVito) who is facing government eviction from his home if he doesn't clean up the property. DeVito previously appeared on the boards in the 2017 Roundabout production of Arthur Miller's The Price. This will mark the Broadway debut for Lucy, with Ray Anthony Thomas co-starring.
