He starred on Broadway in the revivals of The Iceman Cometh and A View From the Bridge, and now Tony Danza — of "Taxi" fame — will headline Feinstein's at the Regency June 25 to July 5.
Danza's engagement will mark his second time at the New York hotspot where he will offer a Fourth of July salute to America featuring some of his favorite tunes. Cabaret-goers can expect to hear Danza sing "The House I Live In," a song that will also be featured on his upcoming recording.
Best known for his work on the long-running TV series "Taxi" and "Who's the Boss?," Danza has appeared on the silver screen and on Broadway and is a respected producer as well. He has also garnered accolades for his song-and dance stage show, which he has performed in Atlantic City, Las Vegas, New York's Rainbow and Stars and other major venues around the country.
Danza will play Tuesday through Saturday evenings at 8:30 PM with late shows on Friday and Saturday nights at 11 PM. Feinstein's at the Regency is located at 540 Park Avenue at 61st Street in New York City. There is a $60 cover for all shows and a food/drink minimum. For reservations, call (212) 339-4095.
