News Idina Menzel Adds Additional Tour Date to Concert Itinerary A new tour date has been announced for Tony Award winner Idina Menzel, who will also be seen in the October broadcast of “A Broadway Celebration: In Performance at the White House.”

Newly added to the singing actresses' itinerary is an evening at the Powell Hall with the St. Louis Symphony in St. Louis, MO, Jan. 23, 2011.

Previously announced tour dates follow:
Oct. 2 in Brookville, NY, at the Tilles Center
Oct. 28-30 in Washington, DC, at the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts
Nov. 5 in Denver, CO, at Boettcher Concert Hall
Nov. 7 in Costa Mesa, CA, at the Orange County Performing Arts Center
Nov. 12 in Atlanta, GA, at Atlanta Symphony Hall
Nov. 19 in Minneapolis, MN, at Orchestra Hall
Dec. 17 in West Palm Beach, FL, at the West Palm Beach Kravis Center
Feb. 3, 2011 in Red Bank, NJ, at the Count Basie Theatre

Menzel won a Tony Award for Leading Actress in a Musical for her work as Elphaba in Wicked; she also opened the London production of that hit musical. Menzel created the role of Maureen in the original Broadway company of Rent, and her other theatrical credits include the City Center Encores! production of Hair, Manhattan Theatre Club's The Wild Party, the Public Theater's See What I Wanna See and the benefit Funny Girl concert. Menzel's screen credits include "Glee," "Ask the Dust," "Rent" and "Enchanted."
