Avenue Q and Book of Mormon Tony winner Lopez is collaborating with his wife, Kristen Anderson-Lopez ("Winnie the Pooh," Up Here), on the score to "Frozen," which will feature the voices of Menzel (Wicked, Rent) as the Snow Queen and Kristen Bell ("Reefer Madness," "Heroes") as Anna.

Chris Buck ("Tarzan," "Surf's Up") will direct the computer-animated film musical that is produced by Peter Del Vecho ("Winnie the Pooh," "The Princess and the Frog").

The film is announced for a November 2013 debut.

Here's how Disney characterizes the film: "In 'Frozen,' a prophecy traps a kingdom in eternal winter, so Anna (Bell) must team up with Kristoff, a daring mountain man, on the grandest of journeys to find the Snow Queen (Menzel) and put an end to the icy spell. Encountering Everest-like extremes, mystical creatures and magic at every turn, Anna and Kristoff battle the elements in a race to save the kingdom from destruction."
