News Idina Menzel's "Let It Go" Certified Platinum – For the 8th Time Tony Award winner Idina Menzel can add a new feather to her cap. In addition to her Tony Award (for Wicked) her performance of the Oscar-winning song "Let It Go" from the animated Disney film "Frozen" has been certified Platinum by the RIAA—for the eighth time.

Each Platinum certifications reflects the shipment of another 1 million digital units.

Here is a link to the RIAA site containing the certification.

Songwriters Robert and Kristen-Anderson Lopez received their first Academy Award for the tune, making Robert Lopez the youngest person to become an EGOT (Emmy, Grammy, Oscar and Tony Award winner). He also holds the record for taking only ten years to complete the achievement.
