At the 7 PM show, Jacobs "invites you to join her on her personal journey into the exploration of Freedom; wanting it, fighting it and questioning what it is - through the music of inspiring female artists such as Sara Bareilles, Joni Mitchell, Linda Rondstadt, Ella Fitzgerald, Melissa Etheridge, India Arie and more."
Jacobs will be joined by J.J. Caruncho (saxophone), Michael Jahlil (vocals), Britany Coleman (vocals), Jonny Morrow (bass), Loraine Faina (drums) and Kyle LaLone (guitar). Saheem Ali directs the evening, with musical direction by Cian McCarthy (The Book of Mormon). Jenny Leon serves as associate director and script supervisor.
The actress originated the role of Gabriella Montez in Disney's High School Musical and has appeared on the New York stage in Nilo Cruz's Sotto Voce and the solo musical Farhad or The Secret of Being.
