So much theatre training is concentrated either in New York or at the college level, it's easy to forget some theatres have their own theatre education programs. The latest comes to Indiana Repertory Theatre in Indianapolis, summer 1998. Associate Director Risa Brainin and other staffers will run an acting conservatory, with sessions for two groups: ages 9-12 (June 8-27) and ages 13-18 (June 29-July 24).

"We are constantly asked to provide this service in our community," artistic director Janet Allen said in a statement. "As a result of our Strategic Planning and the success of our Capital and Endowment Campaign...we are excited about developing these multi-service programs."
