Classic Arts News Indianapolis Symphony Announces Summer Lineup The Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra has announced the lineup for its 25th "Symphony on the Prairie" summer programs.
Performances take place over eleven weekends from June 24 to September 3 at the Conner Prairie Amphitheater north of Indianapolis. Opening night features film music and fireworks. The program on July 28 and 29 includes Beethoven's Coriolan Overture, Piano Concerto No. 1, and Symphony No. 5, with Justin Brown as soloist and conductor.

The program for concerts on August 3, 4, and 5 features Bach's Brandenburg Concerto No. 3, Tchaikovsky's Serenade for Strings, and Vivaldi's The Four Seasons.

Other events include sci-fi music with laser light displays and evening of music by ABBA.
