News Inside Broadway to Honor Andy Karl, Anika Noni Rose and All The Way Inside Broadway will present the Broadway Beacon Award June 23 at The Essex House at 5:30 PM.

The evening will honor 2014 Tony Award nominees Anika Noni Rose (A Raisin in the Sun; Caroline, or Change) and Andy Karl (Rocky) and the Broadway production of All The Way.

Neil Mazzella, chairman of Hudson Scenic Studio and Hudson Sound and Light and Stephen Batta, general manager of the JW Marriott Essex House will also be recognized at the event.

"We are so thrilled to be honoring these remarkably talented individuals who greatly contribute to the vitality of the Broadway community and support our mission of bringing live theatre into the lives of children. Our Broadway Beacon Awards are a wonderful way for us to end the theatre season and this year is no exception," Inside Broadway Executive Director Michael Presser said in a statement.

The evening will also feature special musical performances by the Broadway cast of Jersey Boys as well as a performance by students from Brooklyn's P.S. 97.

Inside Broadway reaches over 20,000 New York City students each year and develops and produces touring equity musical productions as well as a wide range of educational programs that allow participants to interact with professionals in the field and experience theatre hands-on in the classroom.
