News International Elphaba Willemijn Verkaik Appears in Concert Tonight Willemijn Verkaik, the only actress to have played Elphaba in Wicked in multiple languages, including appearances on Broadway, the West End, in Germany and the Netherlands, appears in concert at London's Ambassadors Theatre Aug. 25, then at New York's 54 Below Aug. 27-28.

Accompanied by a live band and joined in London by special guests James Fox (Movin' Out and Let It Be in both the West End and on Broadway) and Victoria Hamilton-Barritt (A Chorus Line in the West End and In the Heights at Southwark Playhouse) and in New York by Wicked composer Stephen Schwartz and other alumni of Wicked to be announced on the night, she will perform songs from both classic and contemporary musicals and will celebrate some of the iconic songs that have defined her career so far.

As well as Wicked, she has also appeared in the West End in Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown. In Germany, she has appeared in Aida and We Will Rock You. She voiced Elsa in the Dutch and German versions of Disney's animated film "Frozen." Recordings include the German cast recording of Wicked, and appearances on Scott Alan's albums "What I Wanna Be When I Grow Up" and "Live."
