The Edinburgh hit Iron is to be staged at the Royal Court early in 2003.

The play is by Rona Munro and is about a mother and daughter — the mother is serving life in prison for murder.

Directed by Roxanna Silbert, and starring Helen Lomax, Louise Ludgate, Sandy McDade and Ged McKenna, Iron previews at the Royal Court (main stage) beginning Jan. 22, 2003, has a press night on Jan. 27 and runs to March 1.
