Palminteri will also star in the production, which will be directed by Tony winner Jerry Zaks, who helmed A Bronx Tale.

Human, according to the New York daily, is a "morality tale in the Wall Street era in which a chance encounter between two men in Central Park before dawn leads to the unraveling of lives, guns, mayhem, colorful language and goodfellas."

Palminteri has cast himself as a Wall Street banker. He will be joined in an upcoming reading of the work by 2012 Tony nominee Jeremy Shamos, Academy Award winner Mira Sorvino and Australian pop singer Sophie Monk.

Producers are Scott and Brian Zeilinger.

No official announcement about the production has been made.

Palminteri has been seen on screen in "The Usual Suspects" and "Bullets Over Broadway"; he received an Academy Award nomination for his work in the latter. Prior to Bronx Tale, his last New York stage appearance was in the 2002 Al Pacino production of The Resistible Rise of Arturo Ui.
