Classic Arts News Israeli Choreographer Sarah Levy-Tanai Dies Sarah Levy-Tanai, choreographer and founder of Israel's Inbal Dance Theater, died on October 3, the Jeruselam Post reports. She was 95 years old.
Levy-Tanai founded Inbal, which presents works that combine the folklore of Levy-Tanai's Yemenite heritage with modern Israeli stories, in 1950. Her works include The Story of Ruth and My Love's Voice.

In 1973, Levy-Tanai was awarded the Israel Prize.
