Among the cast of the comedy are Christopher Sieber, most recently on Broadway in Thoroughly Modern Millie; John Benjamin Hickey, the Love! Valour! Compassion! star who also appeared in the Liam Neeson revival of The Crucible; and Millie's Tony-winning Mrs. Meers, Harriet Sansom Harris. The company also includes Reid Scott and Maggie Lawson, who play, respectively, Bobby O'Neill and Liz, who become engaged in the sitcom's first episode. It is the meeting of the engaged couple's parents that sparks the program's comedy. Bobby, a working-class guy, is a from a traditional working-class family (Lenny Clarke and Harris play his parents), while Liz has two Dads (Sieber and Hickey play the gay couple). Paige Moss also co star as Bobby's sister Maddy.
"It's All Relative" will play Wednesday evenings at 8:30 PM. "Chicago"'s Craig Zadan and Neil Meron executive produce along with Anne Flett Giordano and Chuck Ranberg; the latter two are also the show's writers. "It's All Relative" tapes in Hollywood's Paramount Studios.
