News It's Closing Time at National's Transformation in U.K.

Closing Time appears in the Loft, the new studio space that Trevor Nunn created from the Lyttleton circle foyer. Set in a run down hotel in Belfast, the regulars and owners of the place spend a night in which their refuge from reality becomes a place where it has to be confronted.

James Kerr directs the play — the last to be premiered as part of the Transformation season, and which runs until Sept. 21. Meanwhile the Lyttleton itself, adapted for the season with a thrust stage and reconfigured seating, stages Matthew Bourne's Play Without Words until Sept. 14.
