Celebrating her tenth anniversary as president and executive director of NYC's City Center is Judith Daykin, who will be feted at a Jan. 24 brunch to mark the occasion. Taking part will be such notables as Walter Bobbie, Ann Reinking and Bebe Neuwirth (all veterans of the Chicago revival that began as part of City Center's Encores! Series), Jerry Bock, Sheldon Harnick, Celeste Holm, Peter Gallagher (Noises Off and Joanne Woodward. According to spokespersons at Rubenstein Communications, Daykin's tenure at City Center has seen the organization undergo renovations while also climbing from a $424,000 deficit to ten straight profitable years, with the annual budget going from $3 million to ten. City Center serves as home for various dance companies, as well as both stages of Manhattan Theatre Club. The highly successful Encores! series of musicals in concert is especially prized by City Center, since it's produced in house.

The Daykin anniversary tribute will take place at Seppi's Restaurant on 54th Street.
