News It's Only a Play Will Offer Special Performance to Benefit Actors Fund The new Terrence McNally comedy It's Only a Play will offer a special performance Dec. 7 to benefit The Actors Fund.

The 8 PM performance of the comedy at the Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre will benefit the fund-raising organization.

The cast is headed by Matthew Broderick, Nathan Lane, F. Murray Abraham, Stockard Channing, Rupert Grint, Megan Mullally and Micah Stock. Jack O'Brien directs.

Special Performances, according to the Fund, are "among the most thrilling theatrical experiences and the hottest tickets in town. Broadway companies generously give their time and talent by adding these special shows to their already rigorous schedules, and perform for audiences full of their peers from the entertainment community."
