News It's Smooth Sailing for Revamped Hamilton Digital Lottery The hit Broadway musical Hamilton resumed its digital discount lottery Feb. 2, nearly a month after massive traffic overwhelmed its discount website on its first day, Jan. 5. The revamped website operated without reports of problems, according to a production spokesperson.

Fans are invited to apply for the 21 $10 seats at Hamiltonbroadway.com/lottery starting at 7 AM daily. Applications will be accepted through 3 PM for evening performances, after which the 21 names are drawn and the winners notified via email.

Last time, the site received a reported 50,000 applicants for the 21 seats before it crashed. There was no report of the number who registered on the site Feb. 2.
