Directed by Igor Goldin, the 7 PM performance will feature the talents of Hunter Bell, Matthew Cavenaugh, Anita Gillette, Terri Klausner, Garrett Long, Mary Testa, John Tartaglia, Susan Blackwell, Heath Calvert, Rick Crom, Jeffry Denman, Ed Dixon, Hunter Foster, Stephanie Kurtzuba, Megan Reinking and Asa Somers. David Andrews Rogers is the musical director for the evening, which will be opened by CW 11 News at 10 anchor Jim Watkins. Students from Center Stage Players in Westport, CT, will close the evening with Rent's "Seasons of Love."
The concert, according to press notes, will feature a variety of "first-hand stories and songs from the performers' own 'first' experiences, such as the first show they were in, their first professional stage success or the first show or star that inspired them to follow their hearts to Broadway."
