News "It's Today": Marin Mazzie Begins Week-Long Run at Empire Plush Room June 12 Marin Mazzie, who is currently starring on Broadway as the Lady of the Lake in the Tony-winning musical Spamalot, plays the Empire Plush Room in San Francisco June 12-17.

Mazzie's show, Yes, It's Today!, celebrates the music of Jerry Herman and John Kander and Fred Ebb. David Loud is musical director. Cabaretgoers can expect to hear Mazzie's renditions of "Where in the World Is My Prince?," "If He Walked Into My Life," "A Quiet Thing," "Arthur in the Afternoon," "Everybody's Girl," "The Best of Times" and "Ring Them Bells."

Currently back on Broadway in Spamalot, Marin Mazzie is a three-time Tony Award nominee for her performances in Kiss Me, Kate; Ragtime; and Passion. Her other theatrical credits include Into the Woods, Big River, The World Goes 'Round, the City Center Encores! productions of Kismet and Out of this World and Off-Broadway's The Trojan Women: A love Story, where she met husband Jason Danieley. Mazzie also starred in the London production of Kiss Me, Kate, where she earned an Olivier Award nomination for her work. She was also seen in the Actors' Fund of America's concert staging of On the Twentieth Century.
