News Izzard and Driver Come Into "The Riches" for New FX Series in March Eddie Izzard — who won praise and earned a Tony Award nomination for his turn in A Day in the Death of Joe Egg — will star in an upcoming FX series "The Riches" opposite Minnie Driver.

The show is slated to debut on the cable network in March. Dmitry Lipkin created and penned the series, which FX has picked up for 13 episodes. Izzard, Michael Rosenberg, Guy Oseary and Mark Morgan executive produce.

"The Riches" follows a family of traveling con artists who come upon an upper middle-class who have been killed in a car accident and assume their identities. Izzard plays husband to Driver's character.

Izzard's past solo shows include the double Emmy Award-winning show Dress to Kill as well as Live at the Ambassadors, Unrepeatable, Definite Article and Glorious. The Yemen-born Brit, however, is also a viable actor boasting many London stagings to his credits — among them the title role in the once-Broadway bound Lenny Bruce bio of Lenny and the world premiere of David Mamet's The Cryptogram. His film turns include "Ocean's Twelve," "Velvet Goldmine," "Shadow of the Vampire," "The Cat's Meow" and the forthcoming "Across the Universe" and "Ocean's Thirteen."

Driver — last seen on the London stage in Sexual Perversity in Chicago — played Carlotta in the film version of the musical The Phantom of the Opera. The actress is also known for her work in "Grosse Pointe Blank," "An Ideal Husband," "Good Will Hunting" and "Circle of Friends" as well as a recurring stint on "Will & Grace."
