Jackie Hoffman, best known to Broadway audiences for her performances in Hairspray and On the Town, has landed a role in the new Ryan Murphy anthology series Feud, according to Deadline.com.

The FX series, as previously reported, follows the rivalry of film stars Bette Davis and Joan Crawford during their time making the 1962 movie What Ever Happened to Baby Jane?

Hoffman, who has been cast as Crawford’s housekeeper Mamasita, joins the previously announced Susan Sarandon as Crawford, Jessica Lange as Davis, Catherine Zeta-Jones as Olivia de Havilland and Sarah Paulson as Geraldine Page. Alfred Molina will star as the movie’s director, Robert Aldrich; Stanley Tucci steps in as studio head Jack Warner; Judy Davis plays gossip columnist Hedda Hopper; and Dominic Burgess plays actor Victor Buono.

Filming for the eight-episode series will begin this fall. The first installment of the series is expected to air in 2017.

In related news, writer and producer split Tim Minear, who collaborated with Murphy on American Horror Story, will be the co-showrunner for Feud.
