Drury is a member of Soho Rep's 2011-12 Writer/Director Lab. The work had its world premiere at Chicago's Victory Gardens Theater earlier this year. It is fully billed as We Are Proud to Present a Presentation About the Herero of Namibia, Formerly Known as South West Africa, From the German Sudwestafrika, Between the Years 1884-1915.

In the play, according to Soho Rep, "a troupe of American actors stumble over questions of authenticity and appropriation as they attempt to reconstruct the little-known first genocide of the 20th Century—and land in an exploration that hits closer to home."

The cast features Bernstine (born bad, Ruined, The Vibrator Play) as Black Woman, Brannon (The Ballad of Emmet Till) as Actor 4/Another Black Man, Gann (The Aliens) as Actor 1/White Man, Lauren Blumenfeld (Six Degrees of Separation) as Actor 5/Sarah, Grantham Coleman (Romeo & Juliet) as Actor 2/Black Man and Jimmy Davis (Walworth Farce) as Actor 3/Another White Man.

We are Proud to Present a Presentation… features sets by Mimi Lien, costumes by Toni-Leslie James, lights by Lenore Doxsee, sound by Chris Giarmo, projections by Jeff Larson and fight direction by J. David Brimmer.
