Pasadena Playhouse's world premiere of the Larry Hart musical Sisterella has been selling out with standing ovations nightly, and has now been extended through April 28.

The production is backed by Miramax Films, in association with Tribecca Productions, and by legendary pop star Michael Jackson who serves as executive producer.

Sisterella, which has book, music and lyrics by Grammy-winner Larry Hart (Gospel recording "What a Friend"), adapts the "Cinderella" story to turn-of-the century New York. A wicked stepmother maneuvers to steal the fortune her late husband left to his daughter.

The cast features Della Miles as Ella, Yvette Louis Cason as the stepmother, Jimmie Wilson as the prince and Ralph Cole Jr. as the fairy godfather.

Hart's previous stage productions are Spellcaster, A Tribute to Ginger Rogers and Larr! Bear!. The show is co-produced by Jerry Greenberg, President of MJJ Music.Sisterella runs at the Pasadena Playhouse, Tues-Fri 8pm; Sat 5 & 9pm; Sun 2 & 7pm. For information and tickets: (800) 233-3123.
