Concord Music Publishing and Concord Theatricals has added Songs by an Immigrant composer Jaime Lozano to its roster of artists with a wide-reaching agreement that will see all of Lozano's current and future works administered by the multifaceted music company.

The first result of the partnership will be Concord Theatricals Recordings' release of Songs by an Immigrant Vol. 2, dropping September 15. The upcoming release features performances from Mandy Gonzalez, Melissa Barrera, Ella Bric, and more.

"I feel so proud and honored to be joining the Concord family," says Lozano in a statement. "Concord is synonymous with quality and diversity, and I feel so grateful for their support in helping to amplify my voice and stories."

"I’ve known Jaime for 15 years, and he continues to be an extremely talented and distinctive voice in musical theatre and beyond,” adds Concord Chief Theatricals Executive Sean Patrick Flahaven. “He writes and records with a broad palette, intuitive and deeply felt songs about being in two worlds and finding home and family in each of them."

The first Songs by an Immigrant album released in 2021, featuring collaborations with Hamilton orchestrator and music producer Alex Lacamoire, Hamilton and In the Heights star Mandy Gonzalez, On Your Feet! star Mauricio Martínez, and more. Lozano's stage works include Tlatelolco, Myths, The Yellow Brick Road, Carmen La Cubana, Children of Salt, A Never-Ending Line, Savage, and Present Perfect. Lozano received the American Theatre Wing's Jonathan Larson Grant in 2022.

Currently in residence at Lincoln Center, Lozano will return to the David Rubenstein Atrium August 4 and September 15 for performances including material from a number of projects, including Songs by an Immigrant Vol. 2. The August 4 performance is scheduled to include performances from Krystina Alabado, Mayelah Barrera, Florencia Cuenca, Matías De La Flor, Robi Hager, Shereen Pimentel, Marina Pires, and more.
