The autobiographical show was originally scheduled to play at the CAA Theatre this winter.

Jake Epstein's Boy Falls From the Sky officially opens April 22 at its new venue, Toronto's Royal Alexandra Theatre, after two delays at the CAA Theatre. The show began its run April 19 and is scheduled through May 29.

Epstein, a Broadway alum who appeared in Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark and created the role of Gerry Goffin in Beautiful: The Carole King Musical, stars in his autobiographical show about his childhood dream of making it on Broadway coming true and the personal reality of what it cost.

The work originally debuted at the 2019 Toronto Fringe Festival. Developed and directed by Robert McQueenBoy Falls From the Sky features musical direction by David Atkinson, and music supervision and orchestrations by Daniel Abrahamson. Epstein takes audiences through his stories often using songs from shows he worked on and personal favorites.
