Michael Wilson (The Trip to Bountiful), who also directed Jones in the 2012 Broadway revival of Gore Vidal's The Best Man, will helm the production.
The Moss Hart and George S. Kaufman comedy premiered on Broadway in 1936. Jones (Driving Miss Daisy, Fences, The Great White Hope) would play grandfather Martin Vanderhof.
The family comedy has been revived on Broadway four times. Its last Main Stem outing was a 1983 production at the Plymouth Theatre that starred Colleen Dewhurst and Jason Robards, Jr.
