Performances will run Nov. 3-28 at P.S. 122 in New York's East Village. Dick was adapted by Leslie Mohn from Chris Kraus' controversial autobiographical novel of the same name. The titular Richard is a cultural critic who becomes the unlikely object of desire of Chris, a married woman. Encouraged by her husband, who bears the peculiar name Sylvere Lotringer, Chris pursues her crush, writing Dick 200 letters. After a while, both husband and wife are in thrall of the tastemaker.
