Robbins, the veteran of Broadway's Tyne Daly revival of Gypsy and the hit play The Tale of the Allergist's Wife (also the tour) is now also a Broadway producer as one of the partners of Little Women. The show-tune-packed One Hell of a Ride! plays 9 PM March 7 at Don't Tell Mama. Doyle Newmyer is musical director.

"I really want to do the show at Mama's again, as a tribute to Cy, because that is where he came to see me do it, and I will never forget that night," Robbins told Playbill.com.

After he saw an earlier version of the show, Coleman said, "It was One Hell of a Ride! It's the most compelling performance I've seen in, I can't tell you when. It was heartfelt. What she did for me, was an amazing thing. She took the music, my music, and lyrics of course, and she wove it into a story that was so revealing about her and her life, that I'd forgotten that I'd written that music. I got caught up in Jana Robbins."

Expect songs from Sweet Charity, Seesaw, City of Angels and Little Me, along with numbers Coleman wrote with Carolyn Leigh, including "Witchcraft" "The Best Is Yet To Come" "You Fascinate Me So," "When In Rome" and "The Rules of the Road."

"The feeling of the show has changed because I'm now talking about Cy in the past tense, and hoping to honor his memory as well as sing his songs," Robbins said. "I have added 'It Started With a Dream,' which is the title song of his latest CD, that he wrote with David Zippel from Pamela's First Musical."

All proceeds from the evening go to UNICEF's Tsunami Relief Fund in Cy Coleman's name. Cover price is $20. There is a two-drink minimum, cash only.

Don't Tell Mama is at 343 W. 46th St. in the midtown theatre district. For reservations, call (212) 757-0788.
