Tectonic Theater Project has announced that Jane Fonda will host Tectonic at 25! November 7, an anniversary benefit performance at NYU Skirball celebrating the organization’s 25 years. Performers for the star-studded evening will be announced at a later date.
The benefit will feature stars performing excerpts from Tectonic’s past plays, including Gross Indecency: The Three Trials of Oscar Wilde, The Laramie Project, 33 Variations, I Am My Own Wife, The Tallest Tree in the Forest and Carmen: An Afro-Cuban Jazz Musical, as well as a preview of a brand-new project.
The Tectonic Theater Project Host Committee includes Sir Ian McKellen, Sally Field, David Hyde Pierce, Darren Criss, Jonathan Groff, Ruth and Steven Hendel, Mark Gude and Paul Sekhri, Scott Mauro, Jeffrey and Viven Ressler, Amy Stursberg and Philip Barber, Deborah Taylor, Barbara Whitman, and Timothy Wu and Eric Murphy.
